Big Tent Rebrand…

In the past several months, Carney’s Liberals have gained five MPs, floor crossers from other parties. That quintet includes an MP who was elected three times as a Conservative in Nova Scotia (Chris d’Entremont), an MP who was elected four times as a Conservative in Edmonton (Matt Jeneroux) and an MP who was elected twice as a New Democrat in Nunavut (Lori Idlout).Soon they may be joined by Doly Begum, the Liberal candidate in the Scarborough Southwest byelection, who was until recently a deputy leader of the Ontario National Democratic Party.

US Military training film…

Court Painter is seen on set with his eager assistant AHM demanding ‘action’

The following communique was produced with the assistance of the Court Painter studio’s resident communication specialist Eugene Uterine Ria (Euria).

Subject: Commission of Classified Instructional Production by Designated Entity

This communique serves to confirm that the designated Court Painter and his assistant AHM have been formally commissioned by a top-secret United States entity, operating under the administration of the 47th Presidency. The scope of this engagement involves the production of a specialized training film designed to introduce leadership personnel to classified operational parameters.

The resulting instructional material will be formatted as a short documentary, integrating narrative storytelling and dramatized reenactments of the situation room to facilitate comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. Unlike standard educational media utilized for vocational instruction in arts or crafts, this production is exclusively intended for strategic preparation regarding high-level military decision-making protocols in response to critical national security contingencies.

The Court Painter anticipates that the training film will achieve enduring institutional relevance, potentially serving as a reference standard for future war mongering administrations regardless of personnel changes. While hawkish executive leadership may rotate, the fundamental strategic imperatives and operational characters depicted within the framework of this training production remain constant.

This one is also a great training film.

Modern warfare: A Chemical event…

The US-Israeli war with Iran has left a devastating humanitarian impact that could last for years. The bombing of energy infrastructure, fuel depots, and oil tankers has not only shocked the global economy, but polluted air, soil, food and waterways with toxic chemicals. In response to escalating attacks from the US and Israel, Iran has threatened to bomb desalination plants in the Gulf, which millions of people in the region rely on for drinking water. So what will be the true toll of this war on populations and ecosystems around the globe? This week on UpFront, Redi Tlhabi speaks with Narges Bajoghli, associate professor of Middle East Studies at the School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University and co-author of, How Sanctions Work: Iran and the Impact of Economic Warfare.

The following edited text (with assistance from EURIA )is based on the video transcript emphasizing severe health and environmental consequences of sustained bombing campaigns in the Middle East, particularly targeting oil infrastructure.

Health Risks: Due to Tehran’s geography surrounded by mountains, toxins released from burning oil depots are trapped in the air, soil, water, and food supply. Toxicologists in Iran warn that these compounds lodge in human lungs and could cause health impacts for years, potentially affecting multiple generations. The text characterizes modern warfare as a “chemical event,” noting that missiles and burning fuel release toxic compounds that require significant time and resources to fully quantify.

Climate Impact :The conflict is accelerating climate change by releasing massive amounts of greenhouse gases. An analysis cited in the text found that 5 million tons of emissions were released in just two weeks, a figure equivalent to the annual combined emissions of 84 countries.

  • Modern Warfare as a “Chemical Event”:
    • Every missile, bomb, and burning fuel depot releases toxic compounds into the air.
  • Climate Change Acceleration:
    • Bombing energy infrastructure and destroying cities contributes to climate change.
    • A recent analysis found 5 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions released within just two weeks.
    • At this rate, the annual emissions would equal the combined output of 84 countries.
  • Global Conflict Comparison:
    • The bombing in Gaza is compared to the tonnage of atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
    • Combined conflicts in Gaza, Ukraine, Iran, and Lebanon are speeding up the timeline for climate disaster, moving concerns from a decade away to an immediate crisis.
  • Transboundary Consequences:
    • Warfare effects do not respect national borders; toxins and carbon footprints travel globally.
    • All populations are breathing the same air and living under the shared consequences of these releases.
    • The collective future of the planet is at stake due to the cumulative impact of these wars.

NDP party on! …

Citizens of the Great Dominion should be reminded that the National Democratic Party (NDP) maintains a significant provincial presence across the nation.

Provincial NDP Status (2025-2026):

  • British Columbia (Government): The BC NDP holds a majority government
  • Manitoba (Government): The Manitoba NDP holds a majority government
  • Alberta (Official Opposition):
  • Ontario (Official Opposition):
  • Nova Scotia (Official Opposition):
  • Saskatchewan (Official Opposition):

Federally, the NDP is quite weak, lagging behind the governing Liberals, the official opposition Conservatives, and the Bloc Québécois.
