Gavin McInnes<\/strong>, founder of the Proud Boys and now former CRTV show host, has been banned from YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram<\/strong>, as well as public and personal accounts linked to the organization\u2019s members.<\/p>\n

Twitter bans Gavin McInnes, Proud Boys as ‘violent extremist’.The far right Proud Boys have been involved in violent brawls on city streets and several members are facing charges. The group bills itself as \u201ca pro-Western fraternal organization for men who refuse to apologize for creating the modern world; aka Western Chauvinists.\u201d They are a frequent subject of discussion about political violence, racism, and Trumpism in the mainstream press, and left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center, frequently cited by that press, classifies them as a hate group.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n
