Zelenskyy to fly to Turkey to meet Erdogan, wait for Putin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy <\/strong>told reporters that he would fly to Turkey on Thursday to meet the country\u2019s president Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan<\/strong> and wait to see if Russian president Vladimir Putin <\/strong>decides to join them for peace talks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He explained that because \u201cabsolutely everything in Russia\u201d depends on Putin, the only way to secure a ceasefire and an end to the war was through direct talks with him<\/strong>, Reuters reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf Putin does not arrive and plays games<\/strong>, it is the final point that he does not want to end the war,<\/strong>\u201d he said, AP reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile one is reminded of a Samuel Beckett play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
