<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>Swing voter behaviour could inflate CPC\u2019s percentage of popular vote to 54%, or shrink it to 27%<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New public opinion data from the non-profit Angus Reid Institute finds ample reason for optimism at CPC headquarters, it also highlights potential pitfalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In play are so-called \u201csoft voters\u201d who are either indicating they\u2019ll vote CPC but aren\u2019t fully locked into their vote, or those who say they\u2019re planning to vote for either the NDP or Liberals \u2013 but could still consider the Conservatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CPC vote universe has the potential to grow to 54 per cent <\/strong>of the Canadian vote base. Were things to go terribly for the party however, the size of the CPC\u2019s ballot haul could shrink to 27 per cent.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
