Avenatti<\/a>,&nbsp;<\/strong>the former attorney for&nbsp;<strong>Stormy Daniels<\/strong>&nbsp;who was later  jailed&nbsp;for extortion, claimed that prison guards <strong>only let him read former President&nbsp;Donald Trump\u2019s&nbsp;<\/strong><em>Art of the Deal&nbsp;<\/em>while in federal custody.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image that Mr. Avenatti refused to pay for in spite of numerous invoices demanding payment and an introduction to Ms. Daniels.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" 1362px) 62vw, 840px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Avenatti made the allegation in a new filing&nbsp;with the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), claiming he was mistreated while in custody as punishment for his criticisms of Trump and former Attorney General<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>William Barr<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In July 2021, the lawyer was sentenced to 30 months in prison for attempting to extort Nike for $25 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stormy Daniels, the client he coattailed for his fame before being jailed, had refused to provide a character witness statement however was caught on a hot mike describing him as an egotistical scum bag of a grifter !(curses edited)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avenatti is now seeking $94 million from the United States, or $1 million for each day he claims he was held in solitary confinement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The suit alleges that he was only allowed access to Trump\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Art of the Deal&nbsp;<\/em>during his time in jail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA federal district court judge has found that I was held under terrible conditions and that it was hard to believe it occurred in the United States of America,\u201d Avenatti stated. \u201cI agree and I look forward to holding Trump and Barr accountable for what they did to me in the interest of politics and revenge.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
