Fan Boy Donald Trump and Proud Boy Enrique Tarrio<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Former Proud Boys Chairman Enrique Tarrio was sentenced to 22 years in prison for seditious conspiracy and leading a failed plot to prevent the transfer of power from Donald Trump to Joe Biden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sentence from District Judge Timothy Kelly is the longest given to anyone in relation to the January 6, 2021, US Capitol attack.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tarrio leaned against a podium at the front of the courtroom and hung his head as the judge handed down his sentence. Three other members of Proud Boys leadership were also found guilty of seditious conspiracy and sentenced last week<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Proud Boys<\/strong> is a far-right and neo-fascist organization that admits only men as members and promotes and engages in political violence. It is based in the United States and has a presence in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2016 by a Canadian Gavin McInnes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

n 2018, McInnes was banned from Twitter<\/a>, Facebook<\/a>, and Instagram<\/a> for violating terms of use related to promoting violent extremist groups and hate speech<\/a>. In June 2020, McInnes’s account was suspended from YouTube<\/a> for violating YouTube’s policies concerning hate speech, posting content that was “glorifying [and] inciting violence against another person or group of people.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to his remarks (Stand back\/Stand by) during the 2020 Presidential debate it seems President Donald Trump is a fanboy <\/strong>! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fast forward ahead to June 6,2022 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former top leader and other members of the far-right Proud Boys extremist group were charged with seditious conspiracy for what federal prosecutors say was a co-ordinated attack on the U.S. Capitol to stop Congress from certifying Joe Biden’s 2020 electoral victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol could arguably through it’s investigations find evidence to recommend seditious conspiracy charges against Fan Boy Trump<\/strong> !<\/p>\n <\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
