Subsequent reports said it would be on a long-term loan to that institution.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10413 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/allanhardingmackay.ca\/courtpainter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/CP-mundi-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"576\" height=\"750\" srcset=\"https:\/\/allanhardingmackay.ca\/courtpainter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/CP-mundi-3.jpg 576w, https:\/\/allanhardingmackay.ca\/courtpainter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/CP-mundi-3-230x300.jpg 230w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 576px) 85vw, 576px\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"teads-inread xs-screen\">\n<div class=\"teads-ui-components-label\">But no one has seen it in public since.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The painting was supposed to be part of the Paris Louvre&#8217;s long overdue commemoration of Court Painter&#8217;s artistic achievements,\u00a0but the owner, it was said, refused to lend it.
